Our lives have certainly been full of life-altering changes these past couple weeks. Since the coronavirus has come to Alaska, this week, even more drastic changes have been happening in lives all across Alaska.
One major change that has affected the church is the cancellation of our “in-person” church services. We are also cancelling “in-person” Bible Studies and worship services until further notice. It is uncertain how long this will be, but we can anticipate weeks, at least. It is really about protecting our vulnerable loved ones and our neighbors. In lieu of “in-person” worship services, we will begin livestreaming our morning worship service this Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. Although it will only be our worship team and Pastor Dan preaching, we trust that many will join us on the church’s Facebook page. You should be able to do this even if you do not have a Facebook account. Another alternative will be watching the recorded serviceposted on here later on Sunday. We are also looking into more platforms besides Facebook. Though we are unable to meet together in person, the church’s ministry will still go on, though in a different format. Thus, the church is still in need of your support through tithes and offerings. There are several methods you can give. You can mail a check to PO Box 32360, Juneau, 99803. You can text give to 907-312-2755. When you do it the first time, you will be guided through a process of setting up regular giving options. Or you can give through a link on our church website. Should you have prayer requests, you can email them to Pastor Dan at [email protected] or through a message sent through the church website. Calling the church at 907-789-2724 also works. Leave a message if no one is available. As the saying goes, “We have never done it like this before,” so bear with us as we work through ways of finding effective ministry. We welcome new ideas. God bless you!

Please pray for no kill shelter U. to be safely protected by law, the municipality, government and to continue working as a municipal shelter. Pray for the stopping other organizations who support euthanasing business. Thanks
